Research
The brain is incredibly complex and is one of the least understood parts of the human anatomy. Because of this, research into solutions for various forms of traumatic brain injury and other issues of brain health is critical. Advancing knowledge of the complications caused by traumatic brain injury and the process of healing the brain, along with research into how to protect the brain from potential injury is our greatest mission.
The Brain Health Education and Research Institute is driving the initiative to explore greater knowledge of the brain and the use of omega-3s in the healing process. Our mission is to develop, guide, fund, and oversee the research necessary to provide the scientific foundation to answer clinical questions on the use of omega-3s for a variety of conditions including concussion, severe traumatic brain injury, PTSD, depression, and other psychological conditions.
The Institute was formed to ask the right questions and guide the research, with an emphasis on clinical trials, to solve the difficult issues to benefit our soldiers, sports participants from professional to youth level, and other accident victims as well as the families of those injured.
